PERFORMANCE OF MAGICTOUCH SIROLIMUS COATED BALLOON IN COMPLEX SCENARIO

  • 69-years old male presented with stable angina and the treadmill stress test performed was suggestive of reduced coronary reserve
  • Medical history of hypertension, non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus
  • Patients had undergone previous aortic valve replacement + hybrid revascularization (saphenous vein graft on posterior descending artery, PCI on first diagonal branch)
  • Coronary angiography revealed occlusion of saphenous vein graft and severe calcific disease of right coronary artery

STRATEGY:

Lesion preparation, rotational atherectomy, predilatation with increasing balloons was performed.

  • Rotational atherectony (1.5 mm burr)
  • Multiple dilatations with NC balloons

Strategy

IMMEDIATE OUTCOME:

  • Good lesion predilatation at mid-RCA, inadequate more proximally
  • DES in the mid-RCA, and SCB in the more proximal segment
